Expansion of SOPTIM private cloud capacities
The demand for the Suite as a Service (SaaS) solution is constantly increasing. SOPTIM has now expanded its private cloud capacities to optimally meet this demand.
The Suite as a Service solution from SOPTIM AG has already been in existence for two years and is the ideal complement to the SOPTIM partner model.
In addition to software, the SaaS package also includes the provision and operation of IT infrastructure, system operation, database operation and data backup. Customers get access to the proven standard solutions of the SOPTIM Energy Suite quickly, easily and securely.
“We are delighted that more and more customers are entrusting us with operation of the SaaS solution. Of course, we want to meet this growing demand in the best possible way and almost doubled the capacity of the SOPTIM Private Cloud at the beginning of the year, thereby greatly expanding the virtual infrastructure,” emphasises authorised signatory Nico Vondegracht.
For the optimum operating environment, SOPTIM relies on its own servers in an external ISMS-certified data centre, which has been built according to the latest standards in terms of security and ecology.
The SaaS solution not only unburdens the customer’s internal IT department, but also eliminates the need for coordination with external IT service providers. This means support is much closer at hand, and the customer benefits from an “all-in-one” package.
